Summer holidays?

Not me and glad to see all the activity.

I’m just over 6 months in business now and June and July were my busiest months so far. The astronomical bounce-back in the economy is evident with festivals, live events and the tourism and hospitality industry all looking to shine. I’m getting to work with a diverse mix of clients in events, cafes and consulting – designing for big print banners and signs and refreshing some people’s logos that they’e simply outgrown.

For me, as a graphic designer, the greatest feeling is seeing something you’ve helped to create in person, holding something in your hand or standing beside a poster or banner and then even better again, seeing people interact with it.

So design is probably more than you think, and if you’re not sure, just ask!
